Santa Fe Springs, CA – September 24, 2007 -- AGE Nameplate, a leading supplier of specialty graphic products for the OEM market, today announced the completion of requirements for ISO9001:2000 certification. The Company was audited by QAS of England and successfully passed.

"We started this process in April of 2006 with our own implementation of a corrective action process”, said Andrew Samson, Quality Management Representative for AGE. "The process forced us get to the root cause on all issues and, as a result, we have seen real improvements in production yields", said Samson.

The Company continued down the path with the implementation, in September 2006, of a new operating system that supports and helps the Company maintain version control for the numerous custom products it makes. The quality systems took shape in April 2007 with the formal implementation of a Quality Manual and Procedures Manual that conform to ISO9001:2000 requirements.

The certification audit was held on the premises on August 29, 2007. The audit was conducted by a certified lead auditor of QAS International, headquartered in England. The Company was issued certificate #2780.

The Company plans to take their quality systems a step further by implementing an employee assessment program, known as “5 S Assessment”, designed to promote clean manufacturing, keeping employees focused on quality at all times and tracking and rewarding employees for compliance. The “5 S” program will be implemented over the course of the current fiscal year.
